Background:- BTC was originally formed as an engineering consultancy in 1983 and moved into the computer business in 1988 following the successful adoption of computer applications in house. The key focus of the business over recent years has been to provide computerised solutions to customers with Sage software at the heart of the system. The company has two senior partners and is ideally situated to service clients in Yorkshire and Lancashire.

People:- The managing partners have a wealth of experience in business. This experience allied with a through understanding of computer technology gives BTC Computer Systems its core strength.

The Managing Partner is Nigel Trenholme. Nigel worked for many years at ICI in sales, marketing, trading and purchasing roles. He was Group Buyer in ICI for computer equipment and has been involved in design teams for setting up sales and marketing databases, costing systems and scheduling programs. He has been with BTC since 1994.
